Assistance Needed in Identifying and Locating Armed Bank Robber

Special Agent in Charge (SAC) J. Britt Johnson, FBI Atlanta, along with Atlanta Police Chief George N. Turner, requests the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individual responsible for today’s armed bank robbery at the Bank of America, located at 1088 Peachtree Street N.E. (Midtown) in Atlanta, Georgia.

On Saturday, February 14, 2015, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a lone white male entered the Bank of America branch at 1088 Peachtree Street N.E. in Atlanta, Georgia, and after initially waiting in the customer line while talking loudly on his cell phone, he then went to a bank teller and announced a robbery. While at the teller counter, the robber lifted up his shirt to display a handgun positioned in his waistline. The robber obtained an undisclosed amount of money and departed the bank without further incident.

The robber is described as being a white male, 25-30 years of age, 5’5” in height, wearing a black wool cap, black gloves, grey jacket, blue jeans, black running shoes, and dark sunglasses.
