$5,000 Reward Offered for Wells Fargo Armed Bank Robber

ATLANTA—J. Britt Johnson, Special Agent in Charge, FBI Atlanta Field Office, requests the public’s assistance with identifying and apprehending the individual responsible for the November 29, 2014 armed robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank on Riverwood Drive, Atlanta, Georgia.

On Saturday, November 29, 2014, at approximately 9:15 a.m., a masked individual brandishing a handgun entered the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 3351 Riverwood Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia and announced a robbery. The robber, speaking in what was described as a thick Caribbean accent, gave tellers two clear freezer type plastic bags and demanded that they fill them with money. The robber then departed the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and was observed getting into a 2008 or 2009 model Honda Accord, silver in color.

The robber is described as a black male, 5’10”-6’ in height, slim to medium build, 30-40 years in age, and wearing a dark pea coat/trench coat, dark sweatshirt, dark colored skully/watch cap, black mask (balaclava/hood type), and light blue and black gloves. He was observed brandishing a black or dark colored semi-auto handgun, possibly a Glock and it was noted that he had a distinctive Caribbean accent. A photo of the robber is below.

Wells Fargo is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identity and arrest of the individual responsible for this robbery.
