Robbery of Wells Fargo Bank Branch in Lilburn

ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Brian D. Lamkin, along with Lilburn Police Chief Bruce Hedley, requests the public’s assistance in identifying and apprehending the individual responsible for today’s armed robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank branch located at 5505 Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn, Georgia.

On Monday, August 6, 2012, at approximately 9:17 a.m., a lone male brandishing a handgun entered the Wells Fargo Bank branch located at 5505 Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn, Georgia, and, after approaching one of the bank’s teller stations, announced a robbery.

The robber, having obtained an undisclosed amount of money, fled the bank on foot without further incident.

The robber is described as a black male, late 20s to early 40s in age, 5’9”-6’0” in height, 160-170 lbs. He had short to medium-length hair and was wearing a fake black beard; a blue, long-sleeved button down shirt; dress fedora-style hat; blue jeans; and gray with blue trim Jordan high top tennis shoes. The robber displayed a silver and black handgun.
