FBI Seeks Public’s Assistance to Identify, Locate Armed Bank Robber

ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Mark F. Giuliano, Atlanta Field Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), requests the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an armed bank robber responsible for today’s armed robbery of the Heritage Bank, 620 Stephenson Avenue in Savannah, Georgia.

On Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at approximately 11:00 a.m., a lone black male entered the Heritage Bank, located at 620 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, Georgia, and announced a robbery while displaying a large framed semi-automatic handgun. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber departed the bank without further incident.

The robber is described as being a black male, early 20s in age, approximately 5’7” in height, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a white bandana, and black aviator-type sunglasses. He was also reportedly wearing black gloves.
