Atlanta InfraGard Members Alliance Holds Event

Atlanta’s InfraGard Member Alliance announces the first ALIST event to be held at Kennesaw State University on August 25, 2010. This event will further the cooperation between corporations and federal, state, and local law enforcement and has been approved to give law enforcement officers credit toward their required POST hours.

FBI Atlanta Field office Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Lamkin is providing the morning opening and keynote message. Lunch keynote speaker Larry Brock, CISO for DuPont will present the topic, “Protecting Trade Secrets in a Highly Competitive Global Market.” 

The event features three complete tracks with six sessions in each track. All sessions are open to all attendees. These tracks cover law enforcement, infrastructure protection, and information security. Featured speakers include special agents from the FBI and GBI, representatives from the Department of Homeland Security, and security and legal professionals from organizations like IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Coca-Cola, The Home Depot, and more.

Who is the InfraGard? 

InfraGard is an information sharing and analysis effort serving the interests and combining the knowledge base of a wide range of members. At its most basic level, InfraGard is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the private sector. InfraGard is an association of businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States. InfraGard Chapters are geographically linked with FBI field office territories.
