Seeking Information on Bank Robbery in Pooler

ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge Gregory Jones, FBI Atlanta, along with the Pooler Police Department, is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individual responsible for today’s robbery of the following Savannah/Pooler, Georgia bank:

On Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at approximately 1:04 p.m., a lone Hispanic male entered the Wachovia Bank, located at 204 East Highway 80, Pooler, Georgia, and, after walking up to one of the tellers, and in a direct and firm fashion, announced a robbery and demanded money. The victim teller placed the money on the counter and the robber departed the bank area on foot without further incident.

The robber is described as being a Hispanic male, 5’8”-5’10” in height, medium athletic build, late 20s to early 30s in age, shadow0growth beard, wearing dark sunglasses, blue jeans, and a yellow/red blend shirt.

The above robber is believed to also be responsible for the robbery approximately one hour later at the Bank of America, Bluffton, South Carolina.
