Woman Receives 60-Month Sentence for Selling Meth

ANCHORAGE—U.S. Attorney Karen L. Loeffler announced that Jayme Fabel, a resident of Anchorage, Alaska, was sentenced in federal court in Anchorage to 60 months for her conviction of distribution of a controlled substance.
United States District Court Judge H. Russell Holland imposed the sentence on Fabel, 31.
According to Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Erin White Bradley, who prosecuted the case, Fabel sold a total of 24.25 grams of pure methamphetamine to a buyer in Anchorage.
In fashioning a sentence, the court noted the serious nature of Fabel’s crime, along with her lengthy criminal history and involvement in a larger and dangerous drug-dealing community.
Ms. Loeffler commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Safe Streets Task Force and the Anchorage Police Department for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Fabel. SAUSA Bradley is a prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office who is funded by the Municipality of Anchorage for the purpose of prosecuting gang-related and violent crime cases.
