Suspect Arrested in Connection with New Mexico Bank and Trust Robbery

Jacob Balducci, 35, of Albuquerque, has been arrested in connection with the robbery on Saturday, March 17, 2012 of the New Mexico Bank and Trust branch at 3701 4th St. NW in Albuquerque.

Balducci is expected to appear in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque on Monday.

Witnesses say a man passed a demand note at the drive-thru window at approximately 9:30 a.m.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Albuquerque police arrested the suspect a short time later.

The suspect’s wife and two children were in the suspect’s vehicle when he was arrested.

The wife and children were not present during the robbery and were unharmed.

The wife is not considered a suspect.
