Attempted Robbery of Wells Fargo Bank Branch in Albuquerque

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are looking for a woman who attempted to rob Wells Fargo Bank branch located at 8333 Montgomery NE Blvd in Albuquerque.

The suspect, pictured below, wore a pink UNM sweatshirt, sunglasses, and dark leggings. She carried a small black purse.

The suspect is white, in her early to mid-20s, approximately 5’4” tall, weighs about 130 pounds, medium build, and has short, blonde hair.

Witnesses say she entered the bank at approximately 11:50 a.m., placed a small box on a teller’s counter, and demanded money.

The suspect fled without any money. She was last seen heading west on foot.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call the FBI at 505-889-1300 (24 hours) or send a tip online at https://tips.fbi.gov.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
