Suspect Identified in Raton Bank Robbery

The man arrested in connection with Monday’s robbery of the Bank of America in Raton has been identified as Justin A. Wolaver, 25.
Wolaver is expected to appear in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque on Wednesday.
Witnesses say a man entered the bank at 1233 South 2nd St. at about 3:43 p.m. Monday, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. He received an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a vehicle.
New Mexico State Police stopped him in the vehicle about 40 miles south of Raton on Interstate 25.
Nobody was injured in the robbery.
