  • Public Affairs Specialist Frank Fisher (505) 889-1438

The FBI and Santa Fe Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning at a Wells Fargo branch inside an Albertsons supermarket located at 3001 South Saint Francis Drive, Santa Fe.

The subject is described as a white male in his mid-30s, about 5'6" tall, with a medium build. He had a light brown moustache and medium-length brown hair.

He wore an untucked, off-white long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, brown work boots, a black-and-white baseball-style cap with unknown writing on it and sunglasses on the top, and a black glove on his right hand.

Witnesses say the subject handed a teller a note that implied the robber had a weapon. The subject left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robbery happened about 10:42 a.m. Nobody was injured.

A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Albuquerque FBI Office at (505) 889-1300 (24 hours) or Santa Fe Police Department (505) 955-5033.
