Arrest Made in Three Albuquerque Bank Robberies

A man has been arrested in connection with three Albuquerque bank robberies.

Albuquerque police, working with the FBI, arrested Danny Kevin Brawner, 48, at about 5 p.m. Wednesday at a restaurant near Gibson Boulevard and Interstate 25.

Brawner, of Albuquerque, is expected to have an initial appearance in U.S. District Court on Thursday.

Brawner was arrested in connection with the following robberies:

  • Bank of the West, 5901 Menaul Boulevard Northeast, on April 18.
  • First Community Bank, 1418 Carlisle Boulevard Northeast, on April 14.
  • Wells Fargo Bank, located inside the Albertsons supermarket at 6200 Coors Boulevard Northwest, on February 7.

The FBI and Albuquerque Police investigated this case.
