Albuquerque Credit Union Robbed

The FBI and Albuquerque police are investigating a robbery that occurred Monday afternoon at First Financial Credit Union, 2929 Coors Blvd. NW, Suite 104, near Quail Road Northwest.

Witnesses described the robber as a white male who wore a black and yellow baseball-style cap, sunglasses, a light-colored T-shirt, and shorts that reached to his knees.

He was in his late 40s to 50s, about 5’10” tall, weighing about 160 pounds, with a dark blonde goatee and moustache.

The man walked into the bank at about 3:55 p.m. and handed a demand note to a teller. He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject.
