Robbery of Wells Fargo Bank Branch

ALBUQUERQUE—The Wells Fargo Bank branch located inside the Albertson’s grocery store at 6200 Coors Blvd., NW was robbed today at about 5 p.m. The bank robber is a white male, mid-30s, 5’7 to 5’9” tall, 140-160 pounds, blonde hair and mustache, wearing a tan baseball cap, green plaid shirt and blue jeans. He was carrying a brown notebook.

The robber gave the victim teller a note demanding money. No weapon was displayed. The robber escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt during the robbery. Albuquerque police responded to the robbery. The robbery investigation has begun and is a joint FBI/APD investigation. The investigation is continuing. This is a joint investigation by the FBI and the Albuquerque Police Department.
