Glenn Little Imprisoned for Possessing Child Pornography

The Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Vermont announced that Glenn Little, 44, of Georgia, Vermont, was sentenced today in United States District Court in Burlington to 20 months of imprisonment following his guilty plea to a charge that he possessed child pornography. U.S. District Judge Christina Reiss also ordered that Little serve five years of supervised release following completion of his prison term. Judge Reiss ordered Little to surrender to the custody of the Bureau of Prisons on August 24 to begin service of his sentence.

According to court records, in November 2008, an undercover law enforcement officer in Illinois, using a peer-to-peer file sharing program, downloaded a number of images of child pornography from another computer. Follow-up investigation revealed that the source computer for the child pornography was at the residence of Glenn Little. On January 28, 2009, Vermont FBI agents executed a court-ordered search warrant at Little’s home and seized computers and peripherals. A forensic examination of the computer uncovered additional images of child pornography. In statements to law enforcement, Little admitted that he was responsible for the images.
