National Academy Quarterly Statistics Report
With the graduation of 260 students from the 251st session of the FBI National Academy on December 14, 2012, the grand total of graduates has reached 46,324. This total includes 3,295 international graduates and 345 graduates from U.S. territories and possessions, making a total of 3,640 students who have graduated from outside the United States.
International Officer Participants
International law enforcement officers began participation on an ad hoc basis in the 1930s. In 1962, at the specific request of President John F. Kennedy, the process was institutionalized. To date, there have been some 3,295 graduates from 180 countries.
U.S. Territories and Possession
There are a total of 345 graduates from American Samoa, Canal Zone, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
U.S. States
There are a total of some 42,702 graduates from all 50 states of the union.
Female Participants
Total female graduates are 1,886.
