On March 16, 2013, the FBI Norfolk Field Office hosted a Junior Special Agent Day for 40 local students. Participants were led through a mock physical fitness test that included push-ups, sit-ups, a 300-meter dash, and a 1.5-mile run. In addition, the students learned about the history of fingerprinting and IAFIS—the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System—that is used by law enforcement nationwide. Above, an FBI agent coaches Junior Special Agent Day participants as they prepare for their 1.5-mile run.
