On July 9, 2013, the Kansas City Field Office along with state and local law enforcement officials commemorated the 10-year anniversary of the Heart of America Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory (HARFCL), one of 16 FBI-sponsored digital forensic and training centers in the U.S. devoted entirely to the scientific examination of digital evidence.
