The Honolulu Division honors Mr. James Harrow for assisting families in need to obtain cultural and social services and helping young people overcome substance abuse.

Mr. Harrow is an outstanding citizen who finds time to volunteer and serve in several non-profit organizations. He is an active board member at the Bobby Benson Center in Kahuku, Hawaii—the only residential facility dedicated to substance abuse rehabilitation for adolescents. Mr. Harrow also serves on the building, grounds, and scholarship committees at Palama Settlement, a community-based social service agency. Its mission is to help those to have the ability to empower themselves through promoting education, health, and their own well-being.

Mr. Harrow is also a valued board member of the Honolulu FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association. He assists with the annual Citizens Academy at every session, donates discarded library books to schools where the FBI holds its mentoring program, provides school supplies for the FBI’s Adopt-A-School Program, and serves as the Alumni Association’s programs director.
