The Cincinnati Division honors Ms. Jennifer K. Yucel, Ph.D., director and integrity research officer at The Ohio State University’s (OSU) Office of Research Compliance, for her work raising awareness about potential vulnerabilities in our nation’s infrastructure and for serving as an adviser to FBI investigators.

Through Ms. Yucel’s relationship with the FBI, OSU has become a top-tier member of the Cincinnati Division’s Strategic Partnership Program. Through the program, Bureau investigators have access to the researchers, scientists, faculty, and staff who work at Ohio’s largest research institution.

Ms. Yucel also played an essential role in planning and organizing a joint OSU/FBI export controls conference in 2010. The conference included participants from the federal government and approximately 19 substantial regional research institutions and served as a forum for researchers to express their concerns regarding information security and discuss possible solutions and safeguards.
