— Salary: $45,000 - $60,000

Qualifications include the following:

  • MS in chemistry or forensic science with chemistry undergraduate degree
  • At least two years' forensic laboratory experience
  • Skilled in using gas chromatography, mass spectroscopy, ultraviolet and infrared spectrophotometry, and other drug analysis equipment and methodologies

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Analyzing controlled substances
  • Interpreting laboratory analyses and results
  • Preparing written reports
  • Testifying as an expert witness
