Qualifications include the following:
- MS in chemistry or forensic science with chemistry undergraduate degree
- At least two years' forensic laboratory experience
- Skilled in using gas chromatography, mass spectroscopy, ultraviolet and infrared spectrophotometry, and other drug analysis equipment and methodologies
Responsibilities include the following:
- Analyzing controlled substances
- Interpreting laboratory analyses and results
- Preparing written reports
- Testifying as an expert witness
