Qualifications include the following:
- MD, DO, or MD/PHD
- Qualified for an unrestricted Missouri medical license
- Board certified or eligible in anatomic or clinical pathology and forensic pathology by the time of appointment
- Committed to excellent patient care, teaching, scholarship, and research
- Academically oriented forensic pathologist
Responsibilities include the following:
- Providing autopsy service
- Providing medical examiner services
- Teaching students and residents
- Participating in general anatomic or clinical pathology services
Appointments as Medical Examiner of Boone County, Medical Examiner of Callaway County, and Director of Hospital Autopsy Services are anticipated.
