A new multiplex kit—AmpFlSTR® Identifiler™ kit (Applied Biosystems, Foster City, California)—has been developed that enables simultaneous amplification of the 13 core CODIS STR loci and two additional STR loci (D2S1338 and D19S433). Budowle et al. (2001) reported on allele frequency data for these two STR loci in sample populations of African Americans, U.S. Caucasians, southwestern Hispanics, Chamorros, and Filipinos. This article presents the genotype profile data in these five sample populations for the two STR loci, D2S1338 and D19S433 (Table 1). The profile identification numbers are provided so the genotype data can be linked with the data in Budowle and Moretti (1999). These data can be useful for forensic applications and population genetic studies.
